Cassandra
is a cookery writer well known in the world of the
canals and rivers as she has written cookery
articles in waterways magazines for more than 15
years.
As well as
having a passion for cookery she enjoys travelling,
boating, gardening and weaving, and is lucky enough
to live in a 17th century cottage in a
tiny village in the country with cat Mog and Leo
McNeir.
The fact
that
enigma
publishes Leo’s Marnie Walker Sally Ann series of
waterways crime novels made this departure from our
usual line of publications into the kitchens of
cookery seem like a natural step - once Leo had
assured us he has not been moonlighting and
the book had actually been written by his wife.
Cassandra specialises in making a feast out of next
to nothing and likes to put the “wow” factor into
her meals, so we have called the book
